Cantaloupe was founded in 2006 and focussed on web design and email marketing for small to medium sized businesses. Cantaloupe is fueled by passion for digital marketing and a geeky determination to get results for our clients. It was inevitable then, that we would expand our suite of digital services to include search engine marketing (search engine optimisation and pay per click), website hosting, content management, and really any other online marketing channel that can benefit our clients.
Cantaloupe is a blend of skilled, passionate individuals and affiliate companies working together to achieve favourable results for our clients.

Founder and Owner
After a brief foray Information Technology in the corporate world Melaina realised that she is an entrepreneur at heart. Information technology, creativity, and entrepreneurship merged and Cantaloupe was born.
Melaina believes that continuous learning is essential for survival in the ever-changing digital marketing industry. True to this she spends a lot of time reading industry related news and success stories.

Starting her career in the corporate world as a network analyst, Tessa gained a good foundation in Information Technology. She made a career move into the brand management space where she realised her true passion was to be found in the creativity of web development and the information structure of content management systems. It was no surprise that development on the Joomla platform became a passion.
